  • Sourced from Europe's first and only MSC-certified sustainable anchovy fishery.
  • Caught in the Cantabrian Sea by fishermen using the purse seine fishing method.
  • Semi-preserved through a salt-curing process that lasts for six - twelve months. 
  • Packed into tins with premium Spanish extra virgin olive oil, sourced directly from farmers in Northern Spain.

    A pantry staple

    Other anchovies taste metallic and astringent to me, but the Fishwife Cantabrian anchovies are buttery. I chop them and mix them with garlic as a pizza topping.

    I love these anchovies and I love them more every time I try them. I've had them with pasta and on pizza, but I love them straight out of the can too. They are the umami bombs that make everything better. Not too salty or fishy, but just right
