The Best Tuna Salad

The Best Tuna Salad

Ingredients :

2 tins Fishwife Tuna, drained

½ cup Hellman’s mayonnaise

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 stalk celery, finely chopped

¼ cup finely chopped fresh dill

¼ cup finely chopped red onion

¼ cup finely chopped apple (such as Honeycrisp)

2 dill pickle spears, finely chopped

1 lemon, zested and juiced

Kosher salt, to taste

Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

4 slices sourdough, lightly toasted



In a medium bowl, add Fishwife tuna and gently flake with the back of a fork. Add Hellman’s mayonnaise, mustard, celery, dill, red onion, apple, pickles, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Place 2 slices sourdough on a cutting board. Divide tuna mixture between slices and top each with remaining 2 slices. Cut each sandwich in half and serve immediately.
