Salmon Dan Dan Noodles
Easy yet super high reward noodle bowl using Fly By Jing x Fishwife Smoked Salmon! Peanutty, sesame-y, spicy noodles with smokey, savory salmon - dreamy combination!
1 tbsp creamy peanut butter
½ tsp sesame paste, optional but highly recommended
1 clove garlic, grated
1 tsp soy sauce
½ tsp sugar
Fishwife Smoked Atlantic Salmon with Sichuan Chili Crisp
Noodles of your preference (I used flat ribbon noodles, but any wheat noodle works great here)
Chopped peanuts, optional topping
Green onions, optional topping
Baby bok choy, optional topping
In a bowl, combine peanut butter, sesame paste (if using), garlic, soy sauce, and sugar. From the Fishwife Smoked Atlantic Salmon with Sichuan Chili Crisp, drizzle a teaspoon of chili oil from the tin to the sauce. Mix to combine.
Bring water to a boil in a medium pot. Add noodles and cook according to package instructions. When there’s about two minutes remaining, add baby bok choy to the pot to blanch. Drain noodles and baby bok choy.
Add noodles to sauce and thoroughly mix to combine. Add Fishwife Smoked Salmon and any remaining chili oil to the bowl. Mix. Top with chopped peanuts, green onions, and baby bok choy. Enjoy!
