Smoked Rainbow Trout Dip + Crudite

Smoked Rainbow Trout Dip + Crudite

INGREDIENTS*:

1 tin Fishwife Smoked Rainbow Trout 

½ cup labne 

1 clove garlic, microplaned 

2 tbsp pickled red onion, chopped

2 tbsp dill, finely chopped 

2 tsp capers, roughly chopped 

Pinch smoked chili flakes, or regular red pepper flakes

Extra virgin olive oil and dill to serve 

Seasonal vegetables such as radishes, turnips, and radicchio 


*This recipe can be easily scaled up or down depending on how many people you’re serving. Double the recipe if feeding a group. 


DIRECTIONS:

Combine the trout, labne, garlic, pickled onion, dill, capers, and smoked chili flakes. Mix well. Taste for seasoning and adjust if needed. Serve with more fresh dill, chili flakes, and a drizzle of olive oil. Enjoy with an assortment of seasonal vegetables.
